Facts About The Easter Bunny

  • Easter Bunny Fact is related to rabbits, though earlier it was related to hares.

  • Easter Bunny is related to rabbits as they symbolize fertility and fruitfulness.

  • The reason behind is that rabbits are said to reproduce very quickly. Moreover, as rabbits are similar to hares and are very common everywhere, Christians changed the symbol to the Easter Bunny.
  • Another Easter Bunny Fact is that Easter bunny was first connected with Easter eggs in the spring celebration in Germany.

  • During Easter, children make nests of leaves, moss, or grasses and place them in their yards or gardens. They believe that during the night the Easter Bunny would fill the nests with bright yellow, blue, green, and purple—colored and decorated eggs.

  • In Texas, there is the German custom of burning Easter-eve fires. For this event, children are told that the Easter Bunny is burning wild flowers to make his dyes

  • There is also a tradition of the Easter Bunny leaving a basket of treats filled with Easter eggs and chocolates on Easter Day. However, this tradition is common in America and not in Britain.

  • The tradition of Easter Egg hiding game was started in America. Parents of American children often hide eggs in the garden for children to find. Sometimes their children leave out carrots for the Easter Bunny too.

  • The idea of an egg-laying rabbit went to America in the 1700's through immigrants arriving from Germany.

    World's Heaviest Toddler

Think childhood obesity is only an epidemic in America? Wrong! The second place where it is becoming a
    growing concern is actually China.

Lu Zhihao stands at 3'7 and 136 pounds at just 4 years old. He was born at a healthy weight but quickly started to grow at 3 months old. His doctors can not locate a medical explanation for his large size so they blamed his diet. An establishment in Hong King has volunteered their time time to share weight loss tips for  Lu as soon as his parents get the go ahead to travel. Until then they reduced their son's routine of three bowls of rice a meal to only one bowl. The family reportedly has no history of obesity. As China  expands, its  population;s pants sizes continue to expand as well. Almost 10 years ago a government study done in Child discovered  more than 60 millions obese adults and this number had tripled in only one decade. Only one in 70 people in Child are thought to be overweight. In American it is only one in three people.

With China's population hitting the  1.3 billion mark which means Lu Zhihao will not be the only child to face weight issues. Just last year another child in China weighed 95 pounds at just two years old.

    CBS I Hate You

A few mibutes ago I watched 48 Hours on CBS via the internet because I missed it last night. The story was about Casey Anthony, the mother who is being accused of killing her 2 year old daughter Caylee Marie. To be honest I was appualed and very dissapointed in CBS and I'm not the only one. The worst segment during the broadcast happened when a mock jury was placed in a room to weigh in on Casey's guilt. The kicker? Richard Gabriel was in control of the group. Who is Richard? Richard is a defense attorney for Casey! That's right! CBS let one of Casey's lawyers persude a mock jury and guess what? Most of the group aquited her. Of course they "aquited" her! They were muniplated by one of her supprters! The rest of the special only focused on the defense's point of view and only had one person speaking against Casey. This person has nothing to do with the case. It would have been nice to have the prosecuters opinons also. Ya know, the people who are trying throw her butt in jail? CBS was completley one sided and that is the root of all the controversey the episode is getting. It seems as if CBS only cared about defending Casey despite the evidence.

In fact, the mock jury made comments about Casey's mental health and that maybe the baby's death was an accident. It was as if they were all standing around a water cooler at work. They saw evidence the public has seen. They have heard arguments that the public has heard. They were never put into a room with 100% of the evidence  or being able to hear both sides of the case, so how in the world can CBS show these people standing up and saying yes she is innocent. It pisses me off and breaks my heart that a trusted news progam can let this happen. A beautiful child has been murdered and they did not defend her what so ever. Its disgusting. In the end all that matters is justice for Caylee<3

If you've ever thought golf was lame this may peek your interest about the sport for a hot minute.

At the Carbrook Golf Club in Queensland, Australia there is dangerous occurrence happening in the water....30 sharks!!!

The sharks were taken to be an urban legend  but obviously no one looked close enough at the fins poking out. The club assumes that the 10 foot long bull sharks made their way into the lake during a flood in the 1990s. The sharks swim in a lake that borderlines the golf holes so the balls do not get eaten and safely make a par. Taking advantage of this odd attraction the club hosts "Shark Lake Challenge" every month. The general manager even goes as far as feeding the sharks chicken. Its better than curing their hunger pains with fresh golfers.

    Squirrel Gets Pepper Sprayed?

This past week a cell phone video appeared on Youtube of a police officer pepper spraying a baby squirrel and has caused quite an outrage. The video was shot at Kimbrough Middle School in Mesquite Texas. During the video students can be heard pleading with the officer to please stop spraying him. Shortly after the squirrel can be seen squirming on the ground. Of course the police officer's actions were "justified" by his department. Accoring to Sargent Wes Taley the officer was between a crowd of students including the animal because he thought it might have been rabid. After he failed to get rid of the squirrel he pulled out his pepper spray to protect the students. Lucky for the animal, it was cared for by a local shelter and released which was what should have been done in the first place. You get on a phone and say come get this squirrel I think it may be dangerous. You don't pepper spray the poor thing. I am more and more disgusted by people everyday because of crap like this. Your not going to tell me that is it protocol to pepper spray a baby squirrel or any animal for that matter. Police officers and others who work for the justice system think they have they have the upper hand and can do whatever they want. They can't!

I'm not posting the video because its not something I want to advertise.

    Jersey Shore Trash

It is sad but true in fact that the show Jersey Shore as attracted a huge fan base of over tanned and greasy haired Americans. But not everyone is  so keen about watching  a bunch of drunk horny adults make fools of themselves every time we change the channel, especially New Jersey Governor Christie. Mr. Christie stresses that Snooki and the rest of her cohorts were from New York and not New Jersey.

"Remember, Snooki is from Poughkeepsie and the Situation is from Staten Island. That's not New Jersey,"

The only cast member who is actually from New Jersey is Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola. She is from Hazlet up north. The govener has spoken before about Jersey Shore saying that the antics of these "stars" have given the state a bad name and the show unleashes out of control New Yorkers into Seaside Heights. He most recently chatted with Abc News,

"'It takes a bunch of New Yorkers… drops them at the Jersey shore, and tries to make America feel like this is New Jersey.'

This past week Snooki mad an appearance at Rutgers University. She was paid $32,000 to talk about the gym, tanning, and other useless crap. While some students were thrilled to have Snooki in their presence other students did not feel the same way. I personally do not think money for entertainment at an educational institute should be used on useless things like this. She, her friends, and the whole show holds no value to the world. She is teaching young girls that it is ok to be a drunken fool and have sex with anyone who makes eye contact with you. No  lessons are being learned here. When I was a teenager, the closest thing we had to crap like Jersey Shore was the Real Word. The purpose of the Real World was to get 7 strangers together in one house to see how they could relate to each other. Believe it or not I actually learned some valuable things from the show over the years. Its really sad that now days kids can't get that message because all Mtv cares about is throwing some drunk non New Jersey kids in one house to see them get drunk and make fools of themselves for ratings. Trash. Trash. Trash. 1999 I need you back in my life.

    Sir Elton John Hosts SNL

On this week's Saturday Night Live Elton John proved he is not only a talented musician but also a comedian. In the opening monologue he played the piano and then switched to telling jokes about being a gay parent with his partner David Furnish, his troubles with alcohol, and his divish behavior.

"So far the baby really takes after me; he screams and scries when he doesn't get his way, and he's had his ups and downs with the bottle."

He then  joked about his new son's wealth," We were so thrilled when the baby was born; the doctors told us that we had a healthy baby boy with 10 fingers, 10 toes, and $400 million- and that's not counting royalties, which really add up."

Although he was a musical guest in 1982, this was the first time he hosted the late night show. As the show progressed other celebrites made cameos including Tom Hanks as a sports commentaro and Michael Caine in a bit about how the United Kindom's own famous faces uniting together to attack a dragon who was attacking the parliament.
